These Official Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in The Spaceback Awards 2026 (the “Awards” or “Program”). By submitting an entry, each entrant (“Entrant,” “you,” or “your”) agrees to be bound by these Terms and by the decisions of Spaceback, which are final and binding on all matters relating to the Program.
1. Sponsor
The Awards are sponsored by: Spaceback Inc. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Rembrand Inc.), 584 Castro St #2040, San Francisco, CA 94114 (“Spaceback,” “Sponsor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
2. Eligibility
The Program is open to marketing, advertising, and creative professionals who are:
- At least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence);
- Authorized to submit on behalf of the brand, advertiser, or agency named in the entry (“Entrant's Organization”); and
- Submitting a campaign that ran, in whole or in part, using Spaceback creative technology (CTV, OLV, Display, Pause Ads, YouTube, or DOOH, including any Spaceback AI-powered feature such as CARD, MOTN, FADE, or CLIP).
Both current Spaceback clients and new advertisers are eligible to enter. Entrants do not need to be a Spaceback client at the time of entry, provided the submitted campaign meets the eligibility window below.
Eligibility Window: The submitted campaign must have launched, in whole or in part, between January 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026.
Employees: Employees, officers, and directors of Spaceback and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings) or household members are not eligible to submit an entry as an Entrant, but may serve as judges as described in Section 6.
Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility and to request additional documentation (e.g., proof of campaign flight dates or performance data) at any time.
3. Submission Period
The Program opens on September 1, 2026 at 12:00am ET and closes on October 31, 2026 at 11:59pm ET (the “Submission Period”). Entries received before or after the Submission Period will not be considered. Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, or not received for any reason, including technical or network failures.
4. How to Enter
No purchase is necessary to enter, and there is no cost to submit. To enter, an authorized representative of the Entrant's Organization must complete the official submission form in full, including:
- Entrant and organization contact information;
- Names of all individuals and companies involved in the submitted campaign;
- Campaign details, including flight dates and a link or upload of the creative;
- Responses to the goals, performance, and “behind the scenes” questions on the form; and
- Acknowledgment of these Terms and the licenses granted in Section 10.
An Entrant's Organization may submit more than one campaign, and a single campaign may be submitted to more than one eligible category, provided a separate, complete entry form is submitted for each category. Incomplete entries may be disqualified at Sponsor's discretion.
5. Categories
Entries may be submitted into the core categories and, where applicable, the industry categories described on the Program's landing page and submission form (collectively, the “Categories”), including, without limitation: Best in Show, Best CTV, Best OLV, Best Display, Best Pause Ad, Best Use of a Product/End Card, Best Use of AI Editing, Most Impact, Best Creative, and the applicable industry Categories.
Industry Categories will be awarded only if that Category receives two (2) or more qualifying entries. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to add, remove, combine, rename, or decline to award any Category, including for insufficient entries, before winners are announced.
6. Judging & Selection
Eligible entries will be reviewed by a panel comprised of Spaceback team members and independent external judges (the “Judging Panel”). Entries will be evaluated based on criteria that may include, without limitation:
- Creative quality and execution;
- Campaign performance, supported by the quantitative and qualitative data provided;
- Strategic approach and goal alignment;
- Innovative or effective use of Spaceback's ad formats and AI-powered features; and
- Overall impact, as described in the submission.
Category weighting and methodology are determined by Sponsor and the Judging Panel in their sole discretion. Not every Category is guaranteed to have a winner. All judging decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
7. Winner Notification
Winners will be notified on or about December 3, 2026 using the contact information provided at entry. Winners may be required to sign and return a declaration of eligibility, liability release, and (where lawful) a publicity release within a reasonable time specified by Sponsor. Failure to respond within the specified time, or to satisfy any condition of these Terms, may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner, at Sponsor's discretion.
8. Prizes
Depending on Category and result, winners, runners-up, and finalists may receive some or all of the following:
- A physical trophy commemorating the award;
- An invitation for one representative to attend an in-person winners' dinner/ceremony in New York, NY on or around December 3, 2026;
- A co-branded case study featured on Spaceback's website, blog, and/or social channels; and
- Inclusion in Spaceback's press release(s) and social media announcements related to the Program.
9. Prize Conditions
- Prizes are not transferable, redeemable for cash, or exchangeable for another prize, except at Sponsor's sole discretion.
- Unless otherwise stated, travel, lodging, meals (outside of the winners' dinner itself), and other expenses associated with attending the winners' dinner/ceremony are the responsibility of the winner.
10. License Grant
By submitting an entry, the Entrant represents and warrants that they own or otherwise control all rights in the submitted materials (including creative assets, campaign data, and any associated names, logos, and trademarks) (“Submission Materials”), and that use of the Submission Materials as contemplated by these Terms will not infringe or violate the rights of any third party.
Entrant grants Spaceback a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, publish, display, and distribute the Submission Materials, including the Entrant's Organization's name and logo, for purposes of administering the Program and, if selected as a winner, runner-up, or finalist, for promotional purposes related to the Program, including case studies, marketing materials, the Spaceback website, and social media, in each case in accordance with the consent given on the submission form.
11. Publicity
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes each winning Entrant's consent to Spaceback's use of their name, likeness, photograph, voice, statements, and Entrant's Organization name/logo in connection with the Program for promotional and advertising purposes, in any media now known or later developed, worldwide, without further compensation, notice, or consent, unless prohibited by law.
12. Privacy
Personal information collected through the submission form is used to administer the Program, evaluate entries, communicate with Entrants, and, where consented to, for Spaceback marketing purposes. Such information will be handled in accordance with Spaceback's Privacy Policy, available at: www.rembrand.com/privacy-policy
