Director of Marketing

Location: Remote/Anywhere

The Role

Your primary responsibility will be to test, learn, and develop a strategy to create an enduring online presence that builds brand equity and drives sales. You'll lead initiatives to identify customer segments, develop communication strategies, and execute, execute, execute!

As the Director of Marketing you'll be responsible for a number of key areas and work on a small but passionate team to bring your initiatives to life.
 

Some areas of focus:

EVENTS

  • You’ll manage the events process from planning and promotion to executing and reporting, you’ll be working across paid sponsorships, earned and owned events.
  • Our events are a combination of online webinars and in-person events, so some travel may be required, and you may be needed on site.

SALES ENABLEMENT

  • You’ll be working closely with our new business, client success, and product team to make sure our teams have the resources they need. We’re looking for someone who’s great at building relationships with people across teams around the world.
  • Create one-sheets, seasonal offers, case studies and decks. You’ll need to work across teams to get the information you need, effectively brief designers and ensure materials are shared widely.
  • Support the go-to-market of new products, offers, and partnership, through content, training webinars, newsletters etc.
  • Organize and maintain a repository of resources accessible to others across the company

PR & CONTENT MARKETING

  • You’ll be working to help manage press opportunities and work with PR resources to create thought leadership & earned media opportunities.
  • Collaborate and support the creation of content marketing. From whitepapers to infographics, you’ll bring ideas of how we can create content that stands out.
  • Lead nurture & collaborate on digital marketing initiatives

Who You Are

  • BA or BS in Marketing, Business, or related field from an accredited four-year college or university
  • 3 – 7 years of experience working in a communications or marketing role with event planning experience
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbally presenting
  • Willing to teach what you know and eager to learn what you don’t
  • Ability to think strategically and critically
  • A strong bias toward action. Done is better than perfect. Launch and learn.
  • Self-motivated to do your best even if no one is watching
  • Always looking for opportunities to improve, both yourself and the product
  • Thrive in the face of obstacles and uncertainty
  • Values autonomy and embraces the responsibility associated with it

Extra Credit

  • Familiarity with the ad tech landscape or background in digital marketing is preferred but not required
  • Experience with B2B or Enterprise businesses
